You know how difficult it can be to find the right present for friends and family? Favourites are the creative modern items from the Alessi Italian collection: Quite unusual are the recreations of the telephones from the sixties and seventies: there are striking centrepieces for the Christmas table in red and silver: the large collection of mugs includes some great humour: there are wonderful pottery jars and jugs in lime greens and aquamarine fashion colours and some lovely glass pieces; there are lots of country style things like rocking chickens, basketware with polka dot lining and log baskets. MIRRORS
A mirror can make a room and here you will find stunning examples often on a grand scale! There is nothing ordinary on show. Top of the fashion mirrors are dozens of very small mirrors assembles to make a large one giving a broken glass appearance.

LIGHTING
Table lamps, essential as the days darken, are here in profusion. Very large ethnic pottery lamps are in demand; hand wrought iron; very modern silver desk and reading lights; large scale lamps for sofa tables in crystal and in brass.

ART GALLERY
The store is very strong on home accessories and perhaps most unusual is the art and picture gallery. There are hundreds of framed and block prints. Currently hugely popular are dancers in brilliant red and creams: iconic images of the great stars Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn
et all in silver and glass frames; prints of New York and of galloping horses mounted on black glass backgrounds.

TOYS
You will have too much choice when it comes to little ones. The Nursery department is full of presents for babies and this year there is a big selection of proper old fashioned toys, Rocking Horses, Silver Cross prams, Fairy Palaces, Forty and Farms, Steiff Bears and beautifully dressed dolls.  Toys that will be family treasures and will stand the test of time. A toy is not just for Christmas.

Elsewhere throughout the store there are oriental and modern rugs, lots of cushions, sculptures amazingly detailed model ships, a host of accessories that make the home.
